Some reading gems on your list. Congrats on the blog and all the best.
ReplyDeleteJane Eyre isn't worth the read in my opinion, but there seem to be a lot of great gems in your list!
ReplyDeleteI'm now following your blog, and found you on bookblogs.
#1 is one of my favorites. #6 sounds interesting. Great title. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteJane Eyre is really good. I had to read it in university, and it's become one of my favourite classics.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the E-Book Reading Challenge! You just pick the level that you feel comfortable with, depending on how many e-books you think you can read this year. You can always upgrade your level later if you think you can handle more.
Have fun and happy reading!
Jane Eyre receives the greatest mix of reviews! I read it in about 1998 I think. I can't say that Iloved it but I certainly didn't hate it. It give me cultural depth, I think, that I have read it.
ReplyDelete(We lived in England from Aug 07 to Dec 09 so my interest in classics has greatly increased since that time.)
Have you heard of Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next series? Oh my. Love it. If you want to consider reading that fabulous series it helps if you have familiarity with: Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, Picture of Dorian Gray and Great Expectations (GE is the only one I haven't read).
I am sure you don't need more book recs but it is always fun to tell someone of a book or series that they might love!
Oh, I also wanted to see if you know about www.librarything.com. I love that site. I can be found there as TogetherForGood.
